How does the ordering and checkout process work?

When you order/purchase from William Henry's website, your order is managed by our office in Oregon which usually ships it out to you within the next 24hrs. Orders placed during the weekend are usually shipped the following Monday. In every case, you will receive an email when your order has shipped, and you can check the status and track your order by logging into your dashboard or clicking on the link you received in the order confirmation email. Orders placed by phone, are immediately entered into the system and are shipped as above. Our checkout is a simple 5 step process.

Step 1. You are asked whether you want to checkout as a guest, register, or login (if you are a registered user).

Checkout as Guest if you don’t want any of your personal information to remain stored on our system.
Register if you want to become part of the WH community, and have easy access to your order history and status. This will also help us keep track of your purchase for your future convenience.
Login if you are a registered user and want to use the personal information and shipping address that are linked to your profile.

Step 2 & 3. Select or fill-in your billing and shipping information. Enter your billing information as it appears on your credit card statement. If the billing information you provide is different from the information on file with your credit card company, they will not approve the purchase and your order will be delayed.

Step 4. Choose your shipping method.

Step 5. Select and enter your payment information. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. If you're worried about using your credit card over the Internet, take a minute to read our Privacy & Security Policy.

Step 6. Enter and apply any promotional code, or gift card code in the appropriate fields. The final cost of your order will update based on your selections. WH offers a promotional one-time 10% discount to all new subscribers to our newsletter. For more information on our newsletter promotions, click here

Step 7. Review your order before submitting it. From this screen, you can also edit your cart and/or go back to any of the previous steps to make changes.

How can I determine what size jewelry to order?

Please note that our bracelets are designed to fit comfortably with the upper range of the wrist measurements. Necklaces are also styled to a comfortable fit. Body type and personal preference may play a role in your choice.

BRACELETS
Measure the circumference of the wrist above the wrist bone (towards the elbow) with a flexible tape measure. Compare the measurement to the chart and choose the bracelet size that corresponds to the measurement.
All our bracelets are immediately available in a default size which should accommodate the majority of customers. Allow up to 10 business days for customization, if you pick a different size.

Each William Henry necklace is styled in a default size that should accommodate most customers and fashion tastes.

To determine your ring size, Click Here to open the DIY sizing chart, and print it at 100% (or full scale).
We cannot guarantee that ring sizing via paper will always be accurate. We highly recommend getting sized by a local jeweler.

What shipping methods does William Henry use?

All domestic and international orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS).**

Once the item leaves William Henry’s headquarters in Oregon, the Shipping Method you choose on the Cart page determines how quickly your shipped item delivers to your doorstep. Please note: some items/sizes are made to order, and the lead time prior to shipping is shown on the item page.

Since the actual delivery of your order can be impacted by many events beyond WH's control once it leaves our facilities, WH cannot be held liable for late deliveries.
We will, however, work with you to ensure a smooth delivery.

We strive to offer a seamless purchasing experience to our customers. However, if you did not receive your shipment, or if the package was lost by the carrier, William Henry will quickly refund the entire value of your order.

Care & Maintenance

How do I keep my William Henry knife sharp?

Each of our knives can be sharpened with conventional methods like Arkansas stones, other whetstones, water stones, ceramic, or diamond hones. Diamond is generally the fastest for redressing your edge, but other abrasives work well, too.

DO NOT USE AN ELECTRIC SHARPENER - These are far too aggressive for the fine edge geometry that we create on each blade.

Sharpening angle should range between 18 and 22 degrees on each side - more simply, sharpen just the bevel of the edge, not the whole face of the blade. Too steep and you miss the edge, too shallow and you blunt the edge a bit. Watch for your sharpening marks to follow/replace the original polish of the edge bevel - that's your best guide.

SEND THE KNIFE BACK TO US FOR SHARPENING
We will sharpen any William Henry knife back to its original factory razor edge for free, with a simple $10 charge for return shipping. For kitchen knives, the charge for sharpening is $10 each, or $50 for a full set with free return shipping. Please complete our Repair Form for the item(s) you would like sharpened.

The turnaround time for re-sharpening is 2-3 weeks.

Is jewelry from William Henry covered by warranty?

William Henry offers a limited lifetime warranty on all our jewelry. We guarantee the quality and performance of our creations provided they are used in an appropriate manner.

Returns & Repairs

What repairs are covered under William Henry's warranty?

William Henry's Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and/or workmanship, and we reserve the right to repair, replace, or substitute any item covered by this warranty. Wear and tear, improper usage, storage, or neglect is not covered.

How do I get my WH product repaired?

If the repair is not covered by our limited lifetime warranty, we will let you know of any charges before we do any work.

Turnaround times generally range from 2 to 4 weeks depending on the complexity of the repair, required materials, etc.

How does William Henry process online payments?

When you place an order with William Henry, your credit card information is captured by a secure gateway managed by authorize.net that verifies the availability of funds and places a hold on the funds necessary for your purchase.

Your credit card payment for the total amount of your order is processed when your order is shipped. Non-custom orders are usually shipped by the end of the following business day.

If you choose to pay over time using our financial partner Bread, your monthly payments will be managed directly by bready.

Discount Codes

Does William Henry offer any sales or discounts?

William Henry, offers a 10% one-time 'welcome' discount to all new subscribers to our mailing and/or sms list. The discount coupon is associated with the user's email and/or cell phone number, and is limited to a single-use per customer.

Once a new customer subscribes to our newsletter, they will immediately see the code to be entered at checkout. The code will display on the website (on the 'Thank You' popup), and/or will be immediately sent as an SMS to their cell phone.
The same 10% discount code is also mailed out to all new email subscribers. Customers whose email is already in our system will not receive this welcome email.

The discount code cannot be applied to Last Chance products, which are already offered at a special discounted price. WH reserves the right to occasionally exclude some products or product categories from this promotion.

William Henry does not allow customers to create multiple accounts in order to take advantage of this promotion.
